Hallway Traffic

Hallway traffic has been a running inconvenience at GCAA for some time.
It’s said that the main cause of the traffic isn’t the population of students itself but what people do in the passing periods. Things like stopping to hug, talk and lingering in the middle of the walkways contributes the most to the problem.

Some teachers try building a sense of urgency by telling them to keep moving during the passing times to try and prevent congestion.

Students have made similar statements regarding the cause of the traffic being lingering in the halls and stairways. It’s relatively agreed that the narrow stairways are less crowded since less people use it. And the main stairwell is where most of the traffic issues happen.
