Ravion Moody 2002-2018

Ravion Markell Moody, 16, was born May 9th, 2002 in St. Louis, Missouri to Orlando Hollis and Chevelle Moody. He passed away July 30th, 2018.

Ravion, also known as “Bøh” to his family and friends, is remembered for his kind heart and love for art. Joining Grand Center Arts Academy as a freshman, he was admired by both staff members and his fellow students. Ravion began serving his community at the young age of 12, at which time he joined a youth program at Harambee. There, he did tuckpointing on homes for people with financial need. He continued this work for four years until his death.

Ravion is survived by: his dad Orlando Hollis, his mother Chevelle Moody, two brothers Jamel Dickerson and CLyde LaGrone, three stepbrothers Mark Jackson, Ronnie Banks, and Ryan Banks, three sisters, Tiera Hollis, Reana Brown, and Raven Adiyah Hollis, two grandmothers, Janice Moody and Brenda Cannady, two stepdads, Ronald Banks and Robert Brown, and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

The funeral will be Saturday, August 11th, at Ronald L. Jones Funeral Chapels, 2161 E Fair Ave.  Visitations begin at 1:00 pm, and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm.
