Vocal music students showcased at annual middle school Cabaret Night

Devontae Graham, 8th grade, performs “Grandma’s hands.” Graham says she chose the song because it was sung by slaves when their grandmothers passed away.

Middle School students showcased their vocal music skills at an event held on March 31, 2017.  The event, combined with the high school Cabaret Night was one of GCAA’s largest annual fundraisers, raising a total of over $6,000.  The selected theme was kaleidoscope, representing diversity.  The songs performed were connected to the theme of the event.
