Zina Bush, resource officer

Q: What do you hope to accomplish in the school?

A: “Making sure all our girls get along, thats what im trying to accomplish take out all the who where what, who like who, who’s hair is what, all that. Don’t need it we come to school to learn, so as much as I can, everytime I see a situation when it comes to girls arguing over hair whoever what I would like to change that. I would like to talk to our girls, and let our girls know it’s not necessary to be jealous of one another, everybody’s special everybody unique so love who you are and you’ll be okay.”

Q: What background do you have in security?

A: “I was a correctional officer, I was a security monitor at a halfway house, from there I went to corrections, I worked at Saint Louis city jail and i worked at the Saint Louis city workhouse, So… and then after that I became a housewife. So i’ve just got back to work a year and half ago, and I came back to security and here I am at confluence. I never worked at a school before, I worked with criminales not school students.”

Q: Do you have anything else you would like to add?

A: “I would like to say I enjoy the school and I’m very happy to be here.”
