5 GCAA visual artists have the honor of displaying artwork at the Schlafly Branch Library in the Central West End. The show begins Thursday, November 17th at 6pm.  Artwork will be on display through December.  Congratulations to the following students for getting into the show Tyson Johnson,  Gabi Clark,  Haley Huson,  Isaiah Maupin and Everett Schoenke.

Thursday, December 1st, the Visual Art Department presents its Winter Art Show in the GCAA lobby from 5-7pm.  Friends and family are invited to attend the juried show.  Three guest jurors will award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place ribbons in the following categories….Painting/Drawing, 2-D Design and 3-D Design.  There will also be an award given for the Best in Show for a middle school and high school artist.  

The Gay Straight Alliance will meet today from 3:15 to 4:00 pm in room 113, in the basement.

The Social Justice Solidarity Network will be having its regularly scheduled meeting in Mr. Evan Smith’s room, room 501, on Wednesday from 3:15 to 4:00pm.

Come support Camerata as they will be apart the Choral Invitational Festival at Webster University this Friday at 7pm. There is no charge for admission. For more information, please visit http://events.webster.edu/event/choral_invitational_festival.
