In preparation for Student Council Elections, STUCO candidates gave speeches in the Sun Theatre on Thursday, Sept. 28 for freshmen and sophomores and repeated these speeches on Friday, Sept. 29 in the same location for juniors and seniors. Advisory teachers brought their classes to listen to the candidates’ speeches. Laura Schuhwerk, Makerspace, head of the high school STUCO, provided golf pencils for students without writing utensils handy. Ballots were collected right after speeches were made.

The winners are:

  • President: Nila Wright, junior
  • Vice President: Mario Harris, junior
  • Treasurer: Sami Crivello, junior
  • Secretary: Mariama Adero-Robinson, junior
  • Public Relations Manager: Pashara Travis, junior
  • 10th grade delegate: Jermaine Williams, sophomore
