Winter dance concert explores the theme of “Vitality”

Modern I performs "Shared Experience", choreographed by Thomas Proctor.

Natalie O'Dell, Staff Writer

On December 8, the dance pathway performed in the fall dance concert held in the sun theatre.  The event’s theme was “vitality” and was based on a quote from Martha Graham, well-known choreographer and dancer, “There is a vitality, a life force, a quickening that is translated through you into action, and there is only one of you in all time, this expression is unique, and if you block it, it will never exist through any other medium; and be lost.”  Different classes performed a piece that somehow related to that quote.
