DIY Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Turkey Leg

Ingredients for the Kellogg’s Rice Krispies turkey leg.

With Thanksgiving approaching, this sweet holiday treat is sure to give you something to be thankful about!

What you will need:

  • 3 tablespoons of butter or margarine
  • 1 package of your favorite marshmallows (can be substituted for 4 cups of miniature marshmallows)
  • 6 cups of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal
  • Peanut butter
  • Kellogg’s Cocoa Krispies cereal

Directions:

  1. In a large sized sauce pan, melt the butter or margarine over a low flame, add in your marshmallows and stir until all the components are completely melted. Once everything is melted together remove from the heat.
  2. Add your Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal to the melted ingredients and stir until well coated.
  3. Let the mixture cool, coat your hands in butter and begin to shape the food into small drumsticks.
  4. Spread peanut butter over the large end of the drumstick then roll that end in the Cocoa Krispies. Refrigerate until firm.
