How To Wrap A Present
December 12, 2015
It’s that time of year again, to help wrap Christmas presents for your friends and family, or maybe you just need to learn to wrap gifts. I was once a bad wrapper, until I learned how to actually do it. If you’re one of those people that can’t wrap presents, then this is for you. Hopefully it helps!
- Materials
- Christmas Wrapping Paper
- The gift
- Tape
- Scissors
- Marker
- Roll out the wrapping paper. Depending on the size of the gift, the length that you roll out may vary. Take the gift and place it in the middle of the wrapping paper. With the scissors cut the wrapping paper you have rolled out from the actual roll of wrapping paper.
- Label the four sides of the wrapping paper with letters. I started by labeling the side vertically across from me as “Side A”, and I proceeded with the next letter of the alphabet, clockwise around the wrapping paper.
- Take side A ( or the side across from you) and fold it vertically towards you. Secure the wrapping paper in position with a Piece of tape.
- Take side C ( the side that is across from the previous side you folded) And fold it across the gift. Secure the wrapping paper with a piece of tape.
- This part is a little tricky. You will do this next step for both side B and side D. What you’re going to do is fold the corners of that particular side to the middle, creating a triangle. Secure those two folded corners with a piece of tape.
- Take one side And fold it across the gift, secure with a piece of tape. You will do the same thing with the opposite side and secure it with tape.
- Flip the gift over to the other side and with the marker write the name of the person receiving the gift.
Now you are ready to wrap presents! Happy Holidays!
