Matthew Ernst

“How do you like sixth grade so far?”

“I like it a lot, they have good classes, some of them are a little less advanced than I think they should be for sixth grade, but other than that everything is good.”

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”

“Artist and scientist mostly. I don’t know necessarily what type, but yeah, artist and scientist mainly.”

“What kind of art do you do?”

“ I do visual arts.  I love to make stuff with hot glue and cardboard and corks. I often make little, tiny robots or things that are just random, and that’s my art form.”

“How would you describe GCAA 20 years from now?”

“Probably describe the Makerspace, because it mainly started here and so I would describe the Makerspace, the teachers, and what they did.”

“What kind of stuff have you made so far in the Makerspace?”

“Programming, we’re making a design for a story, like an adventure story.” Matthew Ernst, 6th grade.
