Michael Schultz, eighth grade science

Q: Why did you choose GCAA?

A: I have a musical theater background throughout middle school and high school and the arts was a culture I felt connected to so when the opportunity was presented I gladly accepted.

Q: Where were you before you came to GCAA?

A: I was working at Elite Academy and before that I spent a while at Riverview gardens teaching middle school science. Also, I did a year at Normandy High.

Q: What is different here than there?

A: The culture is different here, more cultures and ideas are accepted here. Also when I give assignments I can use a more creative approach and use artistic means which opens my toolbox as a teacher.

Q: Where did you go to college?

A: Missouri Baptist University

Q: What is your long term goal for your class.

A: I want my classes to look at things through a lens of curiosity, thinking about why things work and noticing the beauty in all knowledge.
