Paper Airplane DIY
April 7, 2015
Paper airplanes are often associated with little kids or misbehaving classrooms. However, they can also be fun for people of all ages and maturity levels. Most people stick with basic, simple folding techniques, but there are so many more designs out there! Below is just one example that ventures beyond your average paper airplane.
- Fold your piece of paper in half vertically, then unfold, leaving a crease down the center.
- Pull the top left corner of the paper down so that the top edge is along the center crease, and fold. Do the same to the top right corner.
- Take the corner on the left side and fold it so that the top edge is along the center crease. Repeat this step with the corner on the right side.
- Take the top of the airplane and pull it down to where the two corners from the previous step met on the center crease and fold.
- Flip the airplane over so that the back is facing you. Then take the right half of the plane and fold on the center crease so that it lines up with the other half of the plane.
- Fold the edge of each wing down so that it lines up with the center crease.
- Pull the wings back up so that they are perpendicular with the center part of the plane.
- Fly!
