The GCAA Jazz Band will be performing at Grove Fest this Saturday at 2:00 on the main stage.
The Visual Art Department has created new Spirit Wear for the 2016-2017 school year. This is a one-time sale, all orders and payments are due no later than October 7th. If you haven’t received an order form from your advisory teacher, you can pick one up in the office. Order forms can be submitted to Mrs. Munguia in room 300 at any time.
All members of high school student council will be meeting October 4th at 3:15 pm, in room 503 to discuss homecoming.
The middle school elections student council are complete! The middle school president is Afiya Faatuono , vice president is Paige Campbell, Secretary is Jaciah Chatman, Treasurer is D’Ashia Miller, and the Delegates are Macy Machetta, Aireyona Stewart, and Colin Schuessler.
Talent show auditions are next week, High school students can sign up by the main elevator by the cafeteria. Please see Mrs. Beier for paperwork to be finished before the audition date. Important dates: Auditions for singers and musicians: Wednesday, October 5 from 3:30-4:45 in the sun theater, Auditions for other artists: Thursday, October 6 from 3:30-4:45 in the sun theater, Judges take another look for some artists on Tuesday, October 11 from 3:30-4:30 in the 7th floor studio. Artists accepted into the show need to be available from 3:30-5:30 for dress rehearsal on Wednesday, October 19. The talent show performance with a chance to win a cash prize will take place on Monday, October 24 at 6pm. Drivers, visit stlsafedriver.com and take the pledge, to possibly win our school $10,000. The deadline to take the pledge is September 30th.
