Q. Are you from St. Louis?

“Yep, so I was born and raised in St. Louis, and I stayed here for all of my schooling. Don’t plan on leaving!”

Q. What high school did you go to?

“I went to Metro High, which is over by the Central West End.”

Q. What college did you go to?

“For undergrad I went to Webster University, not too far from here. Then for grad school, I went to St. Louis University right down the street.”

Q. How long did you go to College?

“So my undergrad program was 4 years, and I focused on sociology, law, and women and gender studies. And then I took a year off, and then I went back to grad school at SLU for 2 years and that was a focus on social work.”

Q. Did you always want to be a behavioral health therapist?

“I’ve always wanted to help people, that’s why I went into social work. Therapy is something that I’ve recently come to. A lot of my experience has been in the criminal justice system. Like working with survivors, working with people to help get them the services that they need. But I’ve always worked with kids, in all of my areas, criminal justice or not.”
