September 22nd, Mrs. Bateman’s Multicultural Literature Classes hosted a poetry slam for staff and students to enjoy.
“I think that writing poetry can help students understand poetry. And I think poetry slams and performing poetry is a important part of expressing yourself through art,” said Bateman.
