The Black History Month performance is tomorrow, Thursday, February 9th at 7pm in the Sun Theater. Adult tickets are $5, and $3 for students with an ID. Tickets will be sold at the door.

Global Ethos student travelers headed to Nicaragua this summer will meet for their regularly scheduled preparation meeting on Wednesday at 3:15 in room 501. These meetings are mandatory.

Social Justice Solidarity Network will meet in room 501 on Monday morning during advisory. See Mr. Evan Smith for a pass beforehand.

Congratulations to Poetic Soulz for taking 2nd place this weekend against 11 area schools. The following are students who competed: Bisa Adero, Tobias Wells, Sevahn Henderson, Bobbi Sanders, Quinlan Holt, Hannah Myles, and Nila Wright. Next weekend, 4 of these students will be competing for a chance to go to Nationals.

The following is the schedule for the high school enrollment/course request process.

10th grade—tomorrow, February 9, 2017

11th grade—Friday, February 10, 2017

The middle school Sweetheart Dance is Friday, February 10th From 3:30-6:30 pm in the south cafeteria. Admission will be $2 at the door. Formal attire is preferred, but not required.

Interest group will meet tomorrow from 3:15 to 4:15 in Mr. Stegmann’s room, B200.

The middle school student council is seeking first its first anti-hate speech multimedia contest. The deadline is Monday, February 13th. Entries must be handed to or emailed to Ms. Oyola or Ms. Zeisset.
