Jessica Carter, Staff Writer

On Tuesday, November 19, the junior night will be taking place in the Sun Theatre from 6 pm to 7 pm. Topics to be discussed will include Types of admissions, the college search process, etc.

“We’re going to talk about junior timelines for college applications, college admissions, and standardized testing such as the ACT and SAT,” high school counselor, Kimberly Campbell said. “You really should start preparing for college junior year and not senior year, because by the end of junior year you should already have looked at your college choices and your college applications should be ready to go come first day of senior year.”

The will be discussing financial aid, specific scholarships, and the A+ Program as well.

“It’s imperative that juniors attend with their parents and start thinking of the college process now, so that they can feel and be prepared for post-secondary options,” Campbell said.
